  3. How did you do the inking? I always end up staining the flat parts

  4. I use AK Interactives Nato Wash. After you've applied it you can go back over it with turpentine to clean up all the excess or streak it. Very handy method, just be sure to seal the model before hand with satin varnish to aid flow and ensure paint isn't stripped off.

    1. Excellent...ill have to try that. Do you just use a "moist" cloth with turpentine to clean off the flat areas? Would a matte varnish work, or does satin work better?

  5. Ive found satin works best, I use Q-tips but a cloth or paint brush works too.

    1. Ok... just ordered the AK stuff :) One more question, do you apply it all over, or try and get it just in the panel lines?

    2. I just run it in all the lines, sometimes I place a dot here and there in the middle of panels and streak it later with the turps.
