Hello hello.
Today I finished off the last of my commission work. Fell a bit behind with these guy but they are now all but done. Took these pics after I sprayed the sealer on. Feeling a tad burnt out from painting at the moment. Have just started re readibg red mars so hopefully a bit of a rest will recharge my batteries.

Going to my monthly man day tomorrow. Have some Cold War commander on the cards followed by more Force on force.

Liebster come at me!

Big thankyou to local wargamer barks over at
for nominating me. Im going to do some shameless copy and pastes because in the great words of Vince Vaughn "Im not a talker" :p

Liebsters are passed from blogger to blogger to spread recognition of smaller, less well known but deserving bloggers and hobbyists.

There are so many great bloggers out there it is hard to sort out who to nominate (who hasn't already been nominated in the past few weeks!). Regardless, here's an even half-dozen for your consideration:

Please head on over and check them out, some great work being done and I am glad we are able to share and view each others work on this means.

Now, I have to answer some questions... I hope I get them right

Why did you start blogging?
Im an attention whore!!!!  Lol no, well yes but no. Wanted to share my work, connect and get some feedback.

If you could change one thing about the wargaming hobby, what would it be?
Power gaming, that shit pisses me off to know end, Gaming is about fun. If you want to be a douche bag and have a win at all cost cheesy power list attitude then GTFO.

What is best in life?
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

Do you want to live forever?

Fame or fortune?
Fortune because I can be famous with my frivolous spending :p

What miniature are you most proud of having painted?
Every single one I paint, I paint with love.
How do you deal with hobby burnout?
Put my brushes down and do something else for a bit, read a book play a game. Seek inspiration else where.

Why is a raven like a writing desk?
In the grim dark of 1856 there was a man, a raven, a man and a desk.

Star Wars or Star Trek?
Love them both but I've always been more of a starwars guy, such a beautiful and rich universe.

If you could only buy from one miniature company from now on, which one would it be?
Couldn't do it and cant pick it. Such a smorgasbord of manufacturers at the moment.
What is your favourite take out?
Chinese COME AT ME !!!!!!!!!!!

The Reds are coming!!!!!! 6mm Soviets

Hello Hello,

Finished my soviets. Not happy with them but they will do. The camo turned out completely different to how I would have liked. I think I may grab another combat command from GHQ to try again.

Guten Morgan!

Ran my first Bush wars scenario I created myself last night. Went fairly well I think but i definetly handicapped the SADF who were hard pressed to make it off the table. Terrain set up will need to be modified as well as we got bogged down by the river.
In the end FAPLA won the day as they prevented the SADF from existing the table with any of the 4 squads.

Exfil - Scenario

the initial SADF set up
Running troops out into the open in front of 4 enemy positions is never smart. This was the turning point and it really bogged us down. My fault.
With heavy causalities in the squad left in the open we reinforced the covered position.
We still ad 3 foot of table to run down by turn 4
Unlucky for us FAPLA called in a T62 for support ....
Unlucky for FAPLA we called in the whirlybird. The crack door gunner put a round through the deck immobilising FAPLAs toy.
We called it game here at turn 6. We no longer had the initiative and no way could run the 3 ft up the board.

7 Year War

Something different.
For my regular tuesday night wolfpack we like to mix it up, so this week it was deep historical 7 Year War. Austrians fending off the Prussians. This was my first "true" historical game. Was alot of fun.

6mm BAOR

Almost finished these guys. Just the jeeps and infantry to finish off.
