So long 2021!

What a bloody year!

Greetings anyone who is still with me. Its been a while, i know and im sorry. Absolute hectic year for me, another few career changes but for the better.

On the hobby front ive been pretty hit amd miss this year. Ive gotten a few games in at home with my son but not much else. A few non starts on 40k but ended up finding myself completely jaded by GWs business practices and the 40k community in general.

Ive carried on with my printing, having printed everything from 6mm coldwar to ancient galleys.

Proud owner of 2 dogs now too!

Looking ahead im going to try and post weekly on here to keep my motivation going. I have quite a bit to get through in 2022 both with hobby and life. I am definetly looking forward to it!

Hope you are well wherever life finds you.

Cheers

Matt

Russian Napoleonic Line

Greetings.
Been a bit since i have last posted. Keep getting side tracked by life and various other pursuits.

Today i finally managed to finish off 3 more  Russian line regiments. Again figures are from Ab's 18mm 1812 line. Pretty happy how they have turned out. I think they look impressive in formation.

Also recently added to my painting que Battletech again. Love the books, love the new artwork. So stay tuned for more on that.

Cheers

Might of Rome Vs the Eastern Dragon

Hi
Follow up from my games day yesterday. Played 400pts of Sword and Spear against a friend.
Was an absolute fantastic game, my dice however did take a few turns to warm up. Alas the mighty Qin fell to the veteran Legions of Rome.

Land Ahoy!!

Greetings.
Not a lot to report on the hobby front since my last post. Haven't been in the painting fever as much. I have painted up some islands for Trafalgar. Nothing too flash just quick and easier. There is a 5th larger island yet to come im just waiting on some buildings for it. Obviously i wont use them all in a game but i at least have some variation to choose from.
Up to book 10 of the master and commander series, god i love them. If you haven't read the series i cant recommend them enough. Hands down my favorite book series of any genre.
Have also started watching Sharpe which is giving me an itch to paint up a 15mm British Napoleonic army. I really know i shouldn't as i still need to finish off the Chinese. Will sleep on it a few days.
The last of my Qin Chinese have arrived, once i have finished painting the 4 french ships they may get some love.

Cheers
Matt
