Qin Chinese

Greetings,
Its been a while but my hobby mojo has been absent.
Painting these days seems like a bloody chore.
So to spice things up have started a 15mm Qin Dynasty Chinese sword and spear army.
Here's the first unit of heavy foot done.
Large unit with 2 handed weapons, Om nom nom.
Got the colour inspiration from the movie "Hero".

Whipped this guys up quickly today for my In her Majestys name warband. 28mm masai warriors from foundry. They will accompany to great white hunters. If you can pick my inspiration you get mad cred.

6mm Cold War.....again...

Seasons greetings.
Taking a break from painting crusaders coz just frankly urrrrggggggghhhhhh so many mans.
With the recent release of Team Yankee my Cold War interests have been reignited.
As is my way i sold off all my previous forays into this period so i purchased new models from GHQ.
Not sure if ill be using them with Team Yankee as a mate is modding the epic armageddon ruleset for use with cold war.
Codenamed: Flashpoint. More on that as it comes into fruition.
So now onto the west germans. Went with Nato camo for a mid 80s type force, mix of leo1s and 2s.

Greetings.
I have done the unthinkable and purchased a pre painted army *GASPS* Shock horror I know.
My gaming circle introduced me to the most excellent Maurice ruleset and from the first game I was hooked. The problem was the sheer number of miniatures to paint and the fact it would have taken me many of months to get them on the table. So being impatient I picked this up off a Trade group on FB.
First thing I did was rip them all off there bases and rebase them on 1inch squares, Added some basing material and unit names last. Over time I will go over the paint job and highlight them up as they are pretty simplistic at the moment. But for now I have an army that can take to the field.
All the formations have been named after units that were present for the Battle of Gross-Jägersdorf.
Will get some game pictures up soon.

Another day another glorious block of 15mm crusade spearmen. They just need basing and banners.
