Its coming together. Decals really tested my patience more then once. Now its all on im angsting over weathering. To do or not to do? Still got armaments to go.

Just a wee bit of weathering, I'd say. Both less work, and probably more realistic. I think a lot of modelers forget that military aircraft in (relative) peacetime are heavily maintained, due to their immense value and the importance of keeping the ground crew busy at all times.
I would have flubbed those decals back in the day, and ended up with tears/wrinkles on the finished piece, forever enshrining my failure :p
