Thanks guys, still waiting for the paint to dry a day later :( I'm going to floor polish it which will help it stop cracking. The planets are the only thing that may crack but as the surface already is broken with the texture I think it shouldn't be a problem. In any case the planets are positioned so they arnt on fold lines.
So looks like I counted my chickens before they hatched. Adhesion with normal rattle can paints is very poor. Going to pressure hose the vinyl clean and buy some special vinyl spray cans from the auto shop.
Amazing! Those planets look great.
ReplyDeleteLooking good mate, but does the paint not crack and flake off when rolled or folded?
ReplyDeleteHmm, good question... I'd think spray paint would go on thin enough that this wasn't a problem.
DeleteWow that's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBro that is just not fair. You are too good!
