Weekend Update

Howdy,
Thought id just share some work ive managed to clear.
Polished off my Fow SS for an upcoming friendly tournament. Started work on my Russian Dystopian wars. Finished off the half painted Yu Jing Hac Tao that's been sitting on my desk for months.

The Mail Man

God I love it when the mail man arrives, it's like Christmas every time.

So didn't do as much hobby over the holidays as I thought I would. During the days I was enjoying spending time with my family and at night I was deep into reading Red Mars and cuddling the wife watching movies. 

I'm 95% finished my FoW horde of infantry (thank god) then ill be onto my next projects. 

Ill leave these here as a taste.

So some progress today. Spots, decals, pin wash and tracks. Still not sure about the spots and the pin wash needs a bit more tidying, the pics look a bit glossy from the turps still drying and the track wash is still wet. Next up chipping and weathering.

This bad boy rocked up after lunch today so I quickly banged a paint sceme on it. I'm not sure if I should do the dots/triangles on it? If I haven't said it already ill say it now AK interactive paints are the shiz!

Shapeways Chinese Destroyers

Finished off my Chinese Destroyers, These are the models I brought from shapeways. Very happy with the end product, not as detailed or crisp as GHQ or CinC but still very nice.

There's a Type 52, 51B, 51C and 2x 52Bs.

Quick Hallo!!

So not alot to report been busy Doing lots of family things this week.

Have started painting up a hoard of FoW German Infantry and making progress on my Chinese Destroyers.

More progress

Finally finished of my federal 15mm forces.

My shapeways order arrived today as well. For $4-5 a pop can't complain. Little bit grainy so I've hit them with 6 coats of primer and 3 of satin varnish. Seems to have worked a bit.
