I endeavoured today to get some more painting done today. This time on the BTR-152 from Peter Pig and Khurasan's new T-62. Just a quick spiel on the 62, Wow this thing is stunning. No flaws and super quick to assemble, ill most definitely be grabbing a lot more of hid moderns as there released.
Also sprayed my King kitty. Im happy with the results, the Filter will tone it all down and tie the layers together.

A massive bush fire made me retreat inside as its raining ash now.

Boiling hot outside today so didn't tarry for long. Quickly banged out these two with a bit of colour mod. Next up will be the filter which will tie it all in.

Heyo!

Good Tuesday to all!

Mail lady visited me again today, your probably thinking she visits a lot and you would be right in thinkin that.

This time she delivered a hot little package from PeterPig.

The order was for

1x Eland 90

1x Olifant

1x BTR-152

1x ruined T-55

Wow, I could not be happier with the quality and service I have recieved this far from PP. Communication is quick and courteous, the models them selves are a real gem. Crisp lines with no flash and the very minimal of burs to clean.

Assembly was very quick and  easy, with no modification to get things to fit correctly. 

Overall I'd give PP a 10/10 in my books from my experience so far.

Can't wait to get paint on these bad boys.

If you've browsed my waffling on these pages you'll know that I wasn't happy with my last Kingy effort. Fingers crossed  I nail it this time.

Over the weekend also got a good chunk of airbrushing for a commission done as well.

G'day

Not a hugely proactive week so far but I did recieve some goodies in the mail.

The trees for my african board. Though not perfect or realistic they do the job.

Secondly this awesome flight stand from Armaments in Miniature, very pleased with this item and te service provided in general. Some decals came with the stand too so will get them done this weekend.

Getting my "Mod On"

Yes another update.

After this weekend my wife's back to work so im back to full time dad duties and im most definitely making the most of the hobby time I have!

Today I have finished of my Russian Frigates, Im very pleased with the end results. Its a nice quick but gritty paint job.
Ive also made a start on a friends commission, He is building me a Infinity table and in return im painting his FOW force. Sounds Legit right?
Also made a purchase of some Airpower for my Border war project so stay tuned.

Swiss cheese

So the K car was a pretty disgusting model to paint, I attribute it to the horrible resin body which has shallow detailing and full of pitt marks. I think this will be the last time I purchase from Old Glory. So good from afar but far from good. Just awaiting my flight stand.

The previous Helicopter I purchased was the Huey Gunship from Old Glory and Unfortunetly this suffers from the same flaws.

Had a full day of getting my hobby on today so also finished off some Dystopian Wars Russian Cruisers.
